Biography

Julia Pernot is a seasoned procurement leader and founder of Vena, with close to 20 years of international experience in both public and private sectors. As an MCIPS-qualified consultant with a Master of Engineering in Project Management, she combines strategic insight with on-the-ground delivery to help organisations unlock value, improve compliance, and scale sustainable procurement practices.

Having worked across diverse industries – including energy, healthcare, transport, education, and mining – Julia has successfully led major sourcing projects, developed high-impact category strategies, and implemented procurement reforms in complex environments. Her work spans Europe and Australia, bringing a rare blend of global standards and local execution.

Fluent in English, French, German, and Serbian, she is known for her cross-cultural agility, stakeholder-driven mindset, and results-oriented pragmatism. Julia is also an advocate for ethical sourcing, digital procurement transformation, and empowering teams through capability-building and mentorship.
